A dark colored paint used on wood or metal trim can create bold lines in a space, and help to draw attention to particular areas in a room. A dark trim is also excellent for setting a modern and contemporary tone, and injecting some interest into a space without making the whole room feel dark or dreary.

House foundations can be painted in any color you like, but neutral or subtle colors tend to work best. Gray, brown, beige, white, and black are commonly chosen as house foundation colors, but shades of dark blue or green can also work well.

Kitchen drawers come in all sorts of sizes, dimensions, designs, and styles, but the fundamental components of a kitchen drawer are all pretty much the same. If you are building a kitchen drawer from scratch, or if you’re constructing a drawer from a flatpack kitchen, then it’s useful to have an understanding of each component and how they work.
